Josée Pelletier’s practice focuses mainly on tax
litigation, tax planning and corporate law.
She is currently involved in transfer pricing and tax appeals, as well as
capital tax and General Anti-Avoidance Rule issues. She is also involved in
trial preparation and examinations for discovery. She has a solid experience
in legal research, analysis and application of different provisions of
taxation laws. She is also involved in the preparation of tax related
seminars.
Prior to joining Barsalou Lawson, Josée practiced in the legal department of
a major telecommunications company in the Montreal area, where she was
involved in litigation, commercial and corporate law.
Josée obtained a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the École des Hautes
Études Commerciales (LL.M. Fisc.) in 2002. She obtained a law degree (LL.B.)
from the University of Montreal in 1997 and was admitted to the Quebec Bar
in 1998.
Josée Pelletier is also a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and of the
Fiscal and Financial Planning Association.
