Karen Leiter joined Barsalou Lawson in 2008 as a student and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in December, 2009. Karen obtained both her civil law degree (cum laude; Dean's List) and her common law degree from the University of Ottawa.  She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Relations from McGill University.

Karen’s practice focuses on the area of tax litigation, with an emphasis on transfer pricing issues and international tax conventions. She is also involved in the preparation of tax related seminars.

Karen is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF).
